On Friday we planted trees at the Hillside Park in NC. It was very fun and we got to learn how to plant a tree properly, my favorite part was digging the hole and naming the tree!

I named my tree Freederick Jeremaya the 49th. We found 2 worms that we put with him so he wouldn’t be lonely. It was a very nice experience to have and we planted about 30 trees!

We planted the trees to help purify the water and when the trees grow up, they can help produce shade so we can stay cool!  It’s a great activity to do with friends, and when you get older, you could come back to see how much both you and the tree have grown! It’s always great to help plant trees for your town or even just for fun!
